Carmelo and Stella Rago of Sorrentino’s Restaurant Group are pleased to announce the opening of their newest restaurant concept, BISTECCA Italian Steakhouse ● Wine Bar. Adding to their already impressive cohort of restaurants, BISTECCA (pronounced “Beestecca” meaning “beef steak” in Italian) is truly in a class of its own. Located in the heart of Century Park in Edmonton’s Southside, BISTECCA is the Italian take on the original Steakhouse.

BISTECCA’s menu is inspired by Sorrentino’s Restaurant Group Corporate Executive Chef Sonny Sung and is a combination of Savory Antipasti, Divine Pasta and Succulent Entrées containing only the finest cuts beautifully aged to perfection. BISTECCA proudly serves Spring Creek Ranch Premium Alberta Beef as it is raised without hormones and antibiotics.

BISTECCA’s wine list has been meticulously crafted to contain only the finest wines of the world. Gurvinder Bhatia of Wines and Spirits Warehouse Cost Plus hand selected over 200 wines with strong representation from ITALY, CANADA, USA, and other countries with some of the most renowned Barolo, Amarone and Brunello - there’s a pairing available for any dish! In addition to the 4 oz. Taster and regular Bottle service, Bistecca also offers an 8 oz. “Quartino” - simply wonderful!

The Wine Bar has a very inviting, elegant and relaxed atmosphere. The menu is a combination of “ASSAGGI” or little tastes, “PIADINE” a favorite Emilia-Romagna flatbread-type snack baked fresh in our “forno” and “CARNE” for example our Burger Trio containing Chicken with caramelized onion, Kobe Beef with truffle oil, and Spring Creek Beef Short Rib.
